MIG/MAG welder

Do you have experience with welding? Are you a MIG/MAG welder and want to showcase your skills? We have several positions available at N2 People. 

Our clients are looking for MIG/MAG welders, who will work internally and externally. You’ll be working on great jobs, independently and as part of a team.

Your workday consists of reading technical drawings and Welder Procedure Specification (WPS). MIG/MAG welding (135&136), assembling/welding of stainless steel machines (power supply). Also you’ll need to be able to assess whether components to be welded fall within the welding parameters. You prepare welds and weld joints while applying the correct welding process and monitoring the variables. You know how to finish the welded joint by sanding, filing or grinding, after which you measure and check machined parts.

What do we expect of you:

• A completed BTEC (vocational school) level 3 or demonstrable through experience;
• In possession of relevant welding certificates and/or technical diplomas;
• Several years’ experience in a similar position;
• Highly motivated, eager to learn and willing to work hard;
• Good knowledge of the Dutch, English and/or German language;
• Willing to follow internal and / or external training courses;
• Accurate, stress resistant and able to work under time pressure;
• Customer and service oriented, flexible and a problem solver.
